Copilot Studio and (Sharepoint) Metadata
Hi fellow members.
Short question:
Would like to use Copilot Studio (Power Virtual Agent) to include in the Semantic Index not only documents' contents, but also the documents' metadata found in the Sharepoint library where the documents reside.
Does anyone know if:
a) this is possible, or:
b) planned possible, or:
c) how to report as a requested feature
Appreciated
Regards

paulp2290 What do you mean "yes" ? Did you manage to do what VidarRadiv was asking ? If that's the case, would you mind sharing your process ?
I would be very glad if you did !

- nikitaspapadopoulosCopper ContributorDid you find any way to do this efficiently ?
- devloveperCopper ContributorHi, Even i tried the same.
I found a different approach.
my copilot was not abled to fetch the info quickly as the docs are 180+ pages.
So, i used a power automate flow to drop the files from sharepoint to the copilot knowledge files, where they are been stored in the Chatbot subcomponent dataverse table.
There you can also add sharepoint metadata to the file description by powerautomate flow.
In this way i used the sharepoint file and its metadata inside copilot studio.- nikitaspapadopoulosCopper ContributorCould you please explain in a bit more detail how you created this flow ?
