Creating MS Teams without a meeting

Hi, I am setting up a schedule for a number of online sessions for July. These sessions will be online support sessions for students, they can just log in if they need any support. I have the schedule now nearly complete and just want to create links what we can send out to students, but I don't really want these all appearing in my calendar, and I won't be attending them myself.

Is it possible for me to set up these links, and send it out to the academic(s) and the students? If I click on the +New Meeting, it will set up the meeting in my outlook calendar as well, and if I click on the Meet Now, I can't set up the dates&times.

Thank you.

  • You can create a Teams meeting link by scheduling a meeting and then deleting it from your calendar—the link still works. Or, set up a recurring meeting with no attendees and share that link. There’s no way to create meeting links without them showing in your calendar, but these workarounds help!
