Add-in warning / "currently upgrading"

Hi All -- I'm enjoying my test/experiment with Viva Sales (Preview) + D365 integration in Outlook. I appreciate the modern/streamlined experience.

 

This week I got a notice that the plugin was being upgraded and I'm seeing across multiple machines the same error --

 

"Add-in Warning
This add-in is currently upgrading. Please close the current message or appointment, and re-open in a few moments."

 

1) I try closing and reopening, with no improvemnet

2) I've reproduced the problem on multiple machines (only 1 user account though)

3) The warning task pane for the warning is a separate pane than the Viva Sales (Preview) pane. Meaning, in my interface I have the email being drafted, a viva sales pane, and the add-in warning pane.

4) I've approved & re-approved the add-in via the app installer site (I forget its exact name).

 

Curious if anyone is seeing this and/or has resolved it.

  • js_multi You should never have to worry about the upgrades we do under the hood. Can you please share a screenshot and/or network logs with us? Please share those details via DM.

        js_multi Did you ever get a resolution to this? I have the problem now and have tried restarting Outlook, my laptop, etc.

    I guess... I should have also been explicit to say that (1) the warning is persisting even after open/closing Outlook, (2) signing-in / signing-out of Viva, and (3) it's just annoying to have to keep closing the window so I can write the email. 🙂
