Apps not surfacing after notification click
Hi
When I received a notification popup e.g. from outlook, teams or slack and I clicked it, it used to pull the related app to the front.
Unfortunately, that's not the case anymore. Right now when I click on a notification, the app starts to flash on the taskbar but nothing more. I think this started to happen when I got the 24H2 update. I tried to turn notifications off and on again but it didn't help.
Any idea how to fix that?

Since you mentioned this started after the 24H2 update, it's worth checking for updates or rolling back if the problem is severe:

It's not exactly severe, it's a just pain. I would have rolled back a long time ago if it was unbearable...
Like I mentioned on another reply, there must have been an update which fixed something because some 50% of emails do show up on top when I click them now. Still, there are some that don't and slack won't either.

Press Win+I to go to System Settings, find System > Notifications, turn off and turn back on Allow apps to send notifications, then check Focused Assistant to see if notifications are turned on and blocked.

Thanks but turning notifications off and back on is something I already did (no effect). Interestingly though, email notifications (from outlook) started to work around 50% of time some week or two ago (slack still nothing).
And I don't understand how the focus assist can help
