Multi-Key Total Memory Encryption on Windows 11 22H2
Data-in-use protection has recently become available through the latest generation hardware in Azure, providing an end-to-end encryption schema. Memory encryption technology innovations are now becoming available in client CPUs. With the latest Intel 12 th Gen Core CPUs (Alder Lake) offering this capability, we are delighted to extend support in Windows 11 22H2 for TME-MK.
Hotpatching on Windows
Hotpatching is an impact-less update technology which has been keeping the Azure fleet up-to-date for years with zero impact on customer workloads. Hotpatching is also available for Windows Server Azure Edition customers and we're working on making it available more broadly over time.
