Is copilot capable of rebuilding an EXISTING PowerPoint presentation based on sample PowerPoint
I need the new power point to follow up the exact format (font, color format, allopathically format on each slide (need to go through all content and make it in apophatically format similar to reference sample format)using the below prompt and no luck: Please transform the “5_23_25.pptx” presentation to match the exact formatting and layout used in “week 2.pptx”, following these instructions: Slide Format & Layout: Use a clean blank slide layout (not a master with multiple columns). Hello, I want to upload an .svg file but it won't let me. I am trying to use an .svg in a PowerPoint but it only points to my uploaded file, I can't upload it for my device. Then it tells me it is unsupported. File formats supported by Microsoft 365 Copilot - Microsoft Support Help?
M365 Copilot for PowerPoint doesn't refer to entire contents of the reference Word file.
We have a paid M365 Copilot license. We are trying to use it in PowerPoint to create a PPT by referring to a Word file. However, we are facing two critical short-comings: 1) The copilot gives us an error when we try to refer more than two files. It says it can't refer more than one file. However, in official documentation its clearly mentioned that M365 Copilot can receive multiple reference files. Here's the error screenshot: 2) When we do use the copilot with one single word file, the outline and PPT generated by the copilot is partial - it limits itself to referring only first 3 pages of a 4 page document. The reference word file has just 4 pages and <1100 pages, the reference word file contains total 10 sections but the PPT generated using M365 Copilot only captures 8 sections and skips the other 2 sections. This is very critical, makes the product quite useless if its only utilizing 3 pages. As a Microsoft 365 Family subscriber (99€/year), I find the additional cost of Copilot—ranging from 22€ to 30€ per user per month—challenging to justify. For a family of four, this adds up to a substantial annual cost of 1,056€, which feels disproportionate compared to the base subscription price. I appreciate the value that Copilot brings, but I believe a more accessible pricing model, especially for families or multiple users, would make the service much more appealing. I'm trying to learn the excel interface, and with that I've been trying to figure out how to not only put Copilot on my desktop version of word, powerpoint, excel, etc. But on my app version on my Mac. Every time I try to add it onto my interface it takes me to teams when I want it onto the application I'm working on not a different program.
Such a disappointment

I thought MS Copilot could assist with updating Excel and PowerPoint, but it turned out to be a mistake. I asked Copilot to replace all instances of "2024" with "2025," but it replied that it couldn’t perform the task. Next, I requested it to analyze a pivot table to identify which rows were subtotals and apply the same formula to other columns in the sheet. Instead, it suggested irrelevant adjustments to unrelated columns. I expected these tasks to be straightforward for MS software, but Copilot struggled with them. Hi all, When generating presentations in Powerpoint using Copilot, I'm unable to select any files other than word files when choosing a file to generate a presentation from. My copilot has updated so I can only generate these presentations from this window opposed to the sidebar: Is there anyway to ensure files other than the word documents in my onedrive appear here? Hello, I am using MS 365 Copilot to generate presentations on some reports that I have, however when I try to specify the number of slides that I would like the presentation to be, Copilot never uses this and will always generate many more slides than I asked for. Is there any specific prompting I could use to make this more consistent or any other tips? Any help would be appreciated, thanks! 😄
