Displaying code snippet on SharePoint Modern
Hello, We are using SharePoint 2019 on-prem, modern experience. We need to display code snippets on pages, but the Text webpart does not allow to format a block with a black background and white texte. What are the alternative? How to connect SharePoint site access user details via Google Analytics data studio
Hi Experts, Good day, I would like to create new reports in Google data studio (Google Analytics), with the data source coming from SharePoint. I need to import site access user counts, including the number of views and counts. I know that we can export this data via the Microsoft 365 Compliance Center, but my client does not allow tenant access due to data privacy concerns. Could you please advise on how we can achieve this? Specifically, I need to collect SharePoint document and file access user details daily and connect this data to Google Analytics on daily basis. Pagination not showing in Modern View
Hi All, I am using SharePoint Online site. In this list I am using all Modern View list. I am setting Item limit 30 but in that list I have more than 1000 items. But it is not showing pagination just like it was showing in SharePoint 2013 pagination like 1-30 .... Can anyone please help us how to show pagination in new SharePoint Online Modern view? A SharePoint page in iFrame from a multigeo location within the same M365 does not work
In our solution we have components to open a sharepoint page in a modal window in an iFrame which works perfectly fine in a non-multigeo scenario. However since including multi-geo environments, this don't seem to work as expected because SharePoint doesn't allow loading a page from a different geo location due to a Content Security Policy Directive. I understand that by design SharePoint does not allow loading pages in an iFrame from an external domain. However in this cause we're trying to load it from a different geo location but within the same M365 tenant connected to the same AD. For example when using the _layouts/15/sharedialog.aspx? page SharePoint takes care to add all the SharePoint domains of the different geo locations in the Content Security Policy directive header attribute but this does not happen when loading an normal news page. Is there a way around this? Am I missing some admin configuration? I would expect SharePoint to recognize the domains for the different geo locations of the same eco system as trusted between one another. Thanks in advance for any advice.
Access to the SharePoint Store
When I access the SharePoint Admin Center, then go to More Features > Features, I get an "Access Denied" message, even though I'm a Global Administrator and even a SharePoint Administrator. Hi everyone, We are currently gaining our first experiences with SharePoint Embedded and have created our setup using the Visual Studio Code extension. While working with SharePoint Embedded, we encountered a few questions and would appreciate some guidance: Adding Columns for Metadata We tried adding columns via the v1.0 API but noticed that this only seems to work in the beta version. Our goal is to attach metadata to documents, such as contract numbers or creditor IDs. What would be the best approach for achieving this? Which endpoint should we use? Virus Scanning Behavior We saw that Drive Items have a malware flag. Our questions: Is the document rejected upon upload if it contains malware? Do we receive any notification about the issue? Is the document automatically moved to quarantine? How can we detect that a document is infected? Any insights or documentation references would be highly appreciated! Thanks in advance! Poncho
